About us
Corlow Rail was founded to confront the challenges arising from degrading and obsolete signalling assets, mixed with resource limitations within the UK rail industry. With a team of seasoned professionals boasting decades of experience, we have harnessed our collective expertise to deliver projects of varying scales. Specialising exclusively on signalling design, our proficient team of IRSE licenced Design Engineers excel in delivering cost-effective, dependable design solutions on time, every time.
Matt McDonald / Managing Director
Matt began his journey in to railway Signalling as a Network Rail apprentice in 2005. He spent time with Faulting and Maintenance before moving in to Signalling Design - where he occasionally supported as a Functional Tester. As such, he has gained an excellent holistic view of the industry and the different disciplines within it. He has contributed at a Principles level to major Signalling schemes, and more recently has delivered Signalling enhancement and renewals projects as Design Manager and CRE.
